The first edition of the Zimix Festival Renens scheduled from 03 to 05 July 2020 is CANCELLED
A festive weekend in Renens under the sign of the openness and diversity that Switzerland embodies.
Always with this desire to unite around music, The Zimix Festival is an intercultural and intergenerational world music event that will be held each year in the heart of western Lausanne in Renens. It is part of the tradition of openness and diversity that embodies Switzerland. It is the continuity of the musical concerts and successful cultural dance evenings organized by MKC EVENTS for several years. It aims to be one of the flagship festivals in intercultural diversity in French-speaking Switzerland.

The festival will take place over 3 days, from Friday 4 July to Sunday 5 July.
For this first edition, we reserve you an AFRO evening (Afro Pop, Afro Beat), a JAZZ evening and a KPOP day. We promise that together we will create unforgettable experiences.

Fri. 3 July – AFRO PARTY
Friday evening offers a large concert of Afro Pop music as well as various small concerts in the first part, musical entertainment and an afterparty mix with a famous AFRO music DJ from the 80s to 2020
The group SAUTI SOL will give a new concert this Friday. It stands out for a musical experience full of energy, dance, and entertainment influenced by traditional East African values.
Sart. 4 July – JAZZ PARTY
The Saturday evening will feature musical entertainment, live bands and dance, a big concert of Afro-Cuban JAZZ music, with bands and an afterparty mix with a famous DJ from the Old School music from the 80s to 2020.
Talented bass player and JAZZ singer, RICHARD BONA, well known on the international and Swiss scene, will be accompanied by the famous pianist ALFREDO RODRIGUEZ and other Cuban artists. Both from the production company QUINCY JONES. The band will sing its most beautiful compositions for the happiness of its Swiss fans who are impatiently waiting for it. A breathtaking summer show in sight.
Sun. 5 July – KPOP DAY
The day on Sunday with a focus on KPOP, including a dance competition, a music concert activities around the stands and an afterparty mix with a famous KPOP DJ music.
